The Academy
Based in the heart of South East, The Dorking Wanderers Sussex Football Academy is a football and education programme which offers a fantastic pathway with the club.
We aim to create the perfect elite environment for aspiring footballers being released by professional and semi professional clubs as well as the games late developers.
The academy creates greater opportunities in football and education as well as a perfect elite environment and seamless pathway for aspiring footballers looking to achieve a professional contract.
The academies are aimed at 16-24 year-olds which will offer further and higher education opportunities alongside a full time football programme.
We will be providing excellent opportunities for young players to study while developing their playing potential. The full-time football academies will offer competitive football at under-18, 19 and under-23 plus training hosted at professional level facilities during the week.
All our coaches are UEFA licensed and will provide a detailed training schedule to enhance the abilities of all players as they work towards a professional contract with Dorking Wanderers FC’.

We design your timetable with you in mind, meaning you'll get the best from your qualification and your training. As well as weekly sessions from dedicated coaches, you’ll have opportunities to compete at your level of football.
You’ll benefit from the extensive links with professional and non-league clubs, allowing you to combine playing for the club and progressing through the pathway. There will also be opportunities to play professional teams in exhibition fixtures, participate in our Winter Showcase Tour to Spain and play regular fixtures in the SGI Super League.
Our campus will help improve all aspects of your game on-site with access to all-weather 3G pitches and grass pitches providing the perfect surface to play football. You’ll also benefit from access to our performance analysis through VEO technology, Strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, and nutritionists to lifestyle management and game analysis will keep you performing at your peak.
Elite level players aged 16-24 are able to train full time with the schedule and attention to detail of a professional footballer, led by highly experienced coaches who stem from the English Premier League and Academy system.
The aim of the academy is to develop players to achieve professional or semi professional footballer status and create opportunities for footballers as they work towards the DWFC pathway.
High Performing players will be fast tracked into the Under 23 and B team sides where they can earn a professional contract with the first team.
You’ll be joining one of the most diverse academies in the UK, with players from all backgrounds coming here to train, develop and study with some of the best advisors in the game.
